5 Free Habit Tracker Printables from freeorganizingprintables.com

If we really took a good look at how we spend our time, we’d probably find that habits make up a lot of what we do.

Maybe we get ready in the morning in a certain order or start our work day the same way each day. Maybe we always listen to an audiobook during our commute or we settle in to watch our favorite shows at the same time each evening.

The habits themselves will vary for everyone, but we all have them.

Habits are so powerful because they’re what we default to without even thinking about it. If our habit is to throw our clothes on “the chair” when we change into our pajamas each night, we will likely always have a messy pile there. But if our habit is to hang up our clothes or put them in the hamper, our space will stay neat.

Changing our habits can be tricky, but we’re a lot more likely to change them successfully if we track them. If you have some new healthy habits you’d like to establish, today is your lucky day! We just so happen to have a little habit tracker printable that can help.

Free Printable Habit Tracker Templates

In order to start tracking our new and improved habits, we’re going to need a template! We realize that everyone’s life situation may differ, so we’re providing five different habit trackers to choose from, each in two cute color schemes. (Yes, 10 printable habit tracker templates in all!)

You can download all 10 habit tracker printables at once by clicking on the button below.

Let’s take a look at what each habit tracker entails…

Daily Habit Tracker Printable

This first habit tracker is pretty straightforward. At the top, we simply circle the month we’re currently tracking.

In the boxes provided, we write down the habits we want to work on for the month. Then each day when we complete the habit, we cross off that day. (Ahhhh so satisfying!)

The printable has space to track eight habits at a time, but don’t feel like you have to track that many! If you’re new to habit tracking, maybe even just start with one! Once that one feels under control, then add another to the list.

We recommend keeping the habit tracker either close to where you complete your habits or, if they’re spread out all over, keep it in a central location that will remind you to finish your habit for the day and check it off.

Printable Habit Tracker Chart

This second habit tracker template is great for people who want to track a bunch of different habits at once.

Free Printable Habit Tracker Chart

With room to track 15 habits for 31 days, you can get the satisfaction of checking off all the habits you’re working on, both big and small.

Simply list the month on the line at the top of the page. Then write out the habits you’re working on in the vertical boxes provided. Check off or color in the boxes across from each number when you’ve completed your habits for the day.

Monthly Habit Tracker Printable

This cute habit tracker printable allows you to follow four different habits for an entire month.

Write the habits you’d like to work on in each of the rectangles provided. Then color in a circle on the chart below that rectangle each day that you complete your habit.

You could even use this printable to track a habit that you want to complete a certain number of times, but not necessarily daily. Without set numbers, this printable is flexible and lets you use it in a way that best fits your life.

Circular Habit Tracker Printable

This printable is a fun twist on the traditional grid format of most habit trackers! The circular format provides an interesting way to keep track of the habits you’re working on for the month.

You can track up to six habits at once with the circular habit tracker printable. Write the current month on the line in the center of the circle. Then jot down the habits you’re working on in the upper left quadrant of the circle on the longer curved lines.

Mark off the boxes around the circle each day you complete your habit. You could even use different colors to mark the boxes and end up with a colorful piece of art when the month is done!

Yearly Habit Tracker Printable

Finally, if you’re feeling really motivated, you can track a single habit for an entire year!

Write the habit you’re working on at the top, then simply check off each day you work on your habit throughout the year.

You don’t have to start in January! If you pick up this printable in July, for example, simply start with the current month and work forward in the year. When the next year begins, you can either go back to the beginning of this same printable and start at January or print a new one and start fresh.

Why is using a daily habit tracker important?

As we talked about at the beginning of this post, our lives are made up of a series of habits.

If we get into a rut of bad habits, our life could head in a negative trajectory that could become harder and harder to get out of.

But if we are intentional about cultivating healthy habits (i.e. using our habit tracker printable!), the opposite can happen. We can send ourselves into a positive trajectory, accomplish our big goals, and make a big difference in our lives and in the lives of others.

And the beautiful thing is that though it may take some initial work to develop those healthy habits, once they’re established they happen naturally in our days and feel a lot less like work. And that is pretty exciting stuff!

There’s more where that came from!
